Salmon and Pomegranate Salad

Ingredients

  • 300g Salad (spinach, lettuce, rucola)
  • 250g Smoked Salmon
  • 1 Garlic Clove
  • 1 Tomato
  • 1/2 Pomegranate
  • Balsamic Vinagre

How

There is not much cooking when making a salad like this. But the defining factors are the flavour associations, the vibrant colours that will emanate from the bowl, and hopefully the freshness of the smell. This smoked salmon and pomegranate salad is perfect to serve at big celebratory meals with family or friends. 


Step1: Add salad base to a serving bowl. 


Step 2: Chop tomato and add to salad. Toss it all. 


Step 3: Open and extract the pomegranate seeds from the fruit. 


Step 4: Cut your smoked salmon into bite-size pieces. 


Step 5: Assemble your salad as you see fit. I like to layer the salmon with the pomegranate on top. 


Step 6: Paste your garlic and mix to balsamic. Sprinkle on top, before serving.
